Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Overview
This page explains how to delete data Onedesk Pro stores, including Meta Platform Data from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. See also our Privacy Policy. Disconnecting a channel, deleting a member account, and deleting an owned workspace are different actions with different effects.
2. Disconnect a Meta channel (workspace admins)
- Sign in at app.onedeskpro.com
- Open your workspace → Channels
- Disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp
Disconnecting immediately revokes stored access tokens and stops new webhooks for that asset. It does not by itself delete historical conversation data stored for the workspace.
3. Delete your Onedesk Pro account
Email joshio@onedeskpro.com from your registered address with subject "Delete my Onedesk Pro account". Include your workspace name and state whether you are the workspace owner or a member.
3a. Workspace owners
If you are the workspace owner, we delete your account profile and the conversation history and attachments stored for workspaces you own (within 30 days), and revoke Meta tokens we manage for those workspaces.
3b. Workspace members
If you are a workspace member (not the owner), we remove your membership and account profile we control. Shared workspace conversations and attachments stay with the workspace unless an owner requests workspace deletion.
4. Remove Onedesk Pro from Facebook
You can also revoke the app on Meta's side:
- Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Onedesk Pro
- Or Business Manager → Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → remove Onedesk Pro
5. End customers (people who messaged a business)
If you only messaged or commented on a business that uses Onedesk Pro, that business controls your conversation data. Contact them first. If you need help, email joshio@onedeskpro.com with the Page or Instagram account involved and we will assist where we can.
